Most guests have never been asked to taste water the way they might taste wine. The session, now bookable exclusively through Riva One, walks guests through mineral content, source, and mouthfeel across a curated flight of still and sparkling waters — a quiet, genuinely unusual hour that few properties anywhere can offer.
The experience is led by South Africa's sole certified water sommelier, a credential held by only a small number of people worldwide. For Riva One, the appeal was not novelty for its own sake but singularity: an experience a guest could not simply arrange elsewhere.
